Blood like tears upon my face
trapped in pain
lost in my mind
she hurts herself
yet i'm the one crying

I love my friends
i hate their pain
wish i could help her
keep the knife from her vein

I love my friends

when they are wounded
I run in vain
trying to heal them
but my words are lame

I love my friends
I hate their pain
so know that i love you
I'm here for you dame
when life builds upon you
and you are forced low
lean on my shoulder
i'll help your grow
take from me my strength
take from me my soul
anything you need
to help you stay whole
because I love my friends
I hate their pain
so just know
you'll never be alone again!
